The Derby Horse Race kicks off at 5:45 PM, alongside our Craven Pig Races and raffle prizes throughout the night.

Yes. Food will be available for purchase, including Craven Farm snacks, dinner options, and more from our Cook House. Beer, wine, and siginture hard seltzer will be available for purchase during the event.

There’s no requirement to dress up for Derby Days at Craven Farm, come as you are and enjoy the event! That said, we do have a prize for best attire, so if you’re feeling festive, it’s the perfect excuse to have some fun with it. Derby Days at Craven Farm is the perfect excuse to dress up and have fun with it. Think classic Derby style, flowy dresses, bold prints, light layers, and comfortable shoes for walking the farm. For the guys, collared shirts, polos, or lightweight button-ups with jeans or slacks are a great fit. And don’t forget the statement piece...hats! Whether you go big and bold or simple and classic, it’s all part of the tradition. No hat? No problem. We’ll have a Hat Bar on-site with hats available for purchase so you can complete your look when you arrive.

This event is rain or shine. Please dress for the weather. Craven Farm is a working farm, so expect animals, grass, and mud.
