Are you looking for a memorable, educational Fall field trip for your students, daycare, or home school?

 

Craven Farm is a real working farm and our pumpkin patch offers tons of kid-friendly, educational activities that are perfect for a school excursion day. Your class will have a memorable time and each child will take home a pumpkin to carve.

Each child attending a Field Trip will receive a cookie and get to pick a pumpkin from our Tour Patch.

Classes with 12 or more students will also receive one Class Pumpkin and Craven Farm's storybook

This interactive, self-guided tour is geared towards Pre-K through 4th grade. Structured to be engaging and to reinforce Washington State curriculum standards. Kids will encounter science trivia, story boxes, an obstacle course, Sunflower Loop where they will learn the parts of the plant, and a Sound Garden where they can make their own music.  Exit your journey through an educational maze that includes farm-related trivia questions. Learn the answers to find your way out of the maze! 

New this year: Travel the Pumpkin Patrol loop that reinforces colors, shapes and counting.

The Original Tour!

The Story Time Tour begins with a greeting from a bright orange pumpkin who tells the children what is grown on the farm. Then the friendly Harvest Witch and puppets tell the story about Farmer Mark and the field mice who are eating the pumpkins. Then it's off to see the baby farm animals!

Venture into the 15-acre corn maze with an Alice-in-Pumpkinland theme! What craziness will you encounter through all the twists and turns? Can you find the three secret rooms? In room two you will have the choice to go the easy way or the hard way. Which will you choose? Supervision is required.
