- What is the maximum number that can be accommodated?
Our facility can accommodate 125 for an indoor function. In the summer
months with the barn doors open the gathering can be raised to 300+.
- What is the rental fee? Our fee for a summer
Saturday wedding is $3,500 for full day event 9am-11pm. Friday and
Sunday 12 hours for $2,500.
- Are there over time charges? Yes. each
additional hour is $200.00
- What is included? Barn, lawn, grounds
surrounding barn, picnic tables, parking, dressing rooms, kitchen area.
- Will there be other events on the same day? We
book only one event a day.
- Are table and chairs included? No, but we do
have them for rent. Please ask to see our rental list.
- Are there certain days of the week when the price is
discounted? Yes, mid-week (Monday through Thursday) can be
rented. Call for pricing.
- If the event is in the garden can it be tented?

- Can things be moved around to decorate as we need it or
do we have to leave as is? You can move and set up to your
needs, we just ask you put things back.
- Is there a security/extra rental/overtime deposit? When
is it returned?
Yes, there is a $500 security/damage/extras/overtime deposit. The full
amount will be returned within 10 days of your event if no occurrences.
Any occurances will be deducted and balance refunded.
- Will there be supervision during the event? Yes,
we are on site during the event.
- Can the site be used for wedding and reception?
Yes, Craven Farm offers a beautiful serene setting for a wedding and
reception.
- Are there music restrictions or length of time it may be
played? The music must be off by 10pm in time for the band or
DJ to pack and be gone by 11 p.m.
- Are there rooms available for the bride, groom &
attendants to change? Yes. we have rooms for both.
- May hard liquor, beer, wine or champagne be served? Only beer, wine &
champagne can be served, by licensed servers not
affiliated with the wedding party. No
hard liquor is allowed on the
farm. You also need a Washinton State Banquet permit from the
liquor store. Your permit
must be posted before any alcoholic beverages may be served by
your licensed servers with the hours of serving stated.
- Is there adequate kitchen? This is a prep
kitchen only. Large refrigeration, lots of counter space available.
- Is there dance floor? Only the cement barn floor.
- Are there rest room facilities? Yes.
- Is there adequate parking? Yes.
- Can I come and decorate the night before or earlier than
9 am?
Arrangements can be made for the night before if there is no event
scheduled 2 weeks prior or early admittance the day of the event. There
will be an added charge of $200.00 per hour for added time.
- Can we have a rehearsal? You are allowed 1 hour
free of charge on a Monday through Thursday night.
- What restrictions do you have on smoking?
Absolutely no smoking in the barn. Outside is acceptable, but please
use the sand filled containers.
- Do you have ice available?
Yes, we have bagged ice $2.00 a bag. If you will need a large quantity
please order ahead of time, so we can have it ready.
- Is there hired help available? Yes, at an hourly
rate of $25.00 per hour per person.
- Is there heat in the barn, if needed? Yes, there
is a furnace.
- Is there anything else needed?
Yes, you will need a certificate of insurance to cover your event. You
get this through your home owners or Wed Safe on the web. Also a State
of Washington Banquet Permit. 36 tea lights for the wall sconses if you
want them lit.
- Should we bring our own garbage bags and paper towels? Yes,
we do not furnish these items. We do take care of the garbage.
- Do you charge if we go over on the time?
Yes we do. It is $200.00 for anything over. So please have the party
shut down 1 hour before ending time for clean up. Overtime is also
deducted from your deposit.
- If we have rental how do we have the
drop off and pick up taken care of? You can come and wait for the rentals to be delivered and/or picked up or pay us $35.00 handeling
fee for a drop off and $35.00 for a pick up to be sure we are here to take care of this for
you.
- Can we bring pets? We have a not pet rule.
